Can you believe our upcoming Golf Foodfest Tournament is almost here?  Not only that, but this is our 10^th year!  For those of you new to our NACE organization, every year we host a golf tournament to benefit Ventura County Food SHARE – the largest and only food bank in Ventura County.  A large portion of the proceeds we raise from the tournament is donated to FOOD Share on NACE’s behalf. 

Our golf tournament is quite different from most.  Although we have the traditional contests and silent auction, what really sets us apart (and makes this a “Foodfest”) are the multiple food stations we set up throughout the golf course.  Every few holes, you will come to a Food Tent containing food, water, beer and other beverages – all at no additional charge!  You’ll feast on cuisine from local restaurants and caterers sampling a few of their signature dishes.  In addition, a prize will be given to the person who has gained the most weight throughout the day.  So make sure you take advantage of all the delicious food we’ll be offering!

Now is the time to sign up!  If you’re a golfer, make sure you get your registration & payment in soon to ensure you are registered for this eventful day.  Not a golfer?  We have many other opportunities for you to contribute – as a caterer, a volunteer the day of, rentals & décor set up.  We encourage you to sign up your friends and family as this is fun filled day is one you do not want to miss.
