Limoneria Ranch is the back drop for our exciting night, with Bocce Ball courts to foster some healthy competition.
Caribbean Coffee Company will provide some non alcoholic options with their Bona Fide Craft Draft Coffee, and Passion Fruit Mango Iced Tea

We have two sites that we offer at Limoneira , The Citrus Pavilion Ranch office area and North Lawn Bocce Court Area. We can hold up to 3,000 guests on property.
What kind of events does Limoneira Ranch host?
Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Ceremonies, Wedding Receptions, Post-Celebration Brunches, Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, Bridal Showers, Bridesmaid Luncheons, Family Reunions, Private Parties, Corporate Events, Non-Profit & Fundraising Events.
What is the event capacity (how many people can attend)?
75 minimum - 3,000 maximum. The North Lawn (outdoors):
When is Limoneira Ranch open/available?
Year-round, with April through November the preferred months for outdoor events. Private parties also available through Christmas and holiday season. Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
What is parking like?
On-site parking is available for maximum 3,000. Additional charges may also apply for parties exceeding 150 guests.
Is on-site catering available?
Given the unique setting of our venues in the midst of operating agricultural ranches, Applicants must utilize Plated Events by Chef Jason, who have experience hosting numerous events on our properties, have access to our indoor and outdoor kitchen facilities, maintain current permits, insurance coverage, and liquor licenses, and will help ensure a satisfactory experience for Applicants and their guests.

Where can I rent equipment?
Available through Plated Events, Ventura Rentals or outside supplier:
Generators, market umbrellas etc. The following equipment is available for rent through independent Rental Firms: (Preferred Client discounts may be available through Plated Events) Dance Floor, Tents, Tables, Chairs, Cushions, Lighting, Heat Lamps, Outdoor Fireplaces, Portable Bathrooms, etc.
Should I rent an outdoor tent?
Tenting creates indoor spaces at our outdoor venues. Layouts and rental costs are dependent upon each Event’s site specifications, total number of guests and catering details.

The North Lawn: Ideal for larger groups, this site is surrounded by lush landscaping, lemon orchards, the sun-baked foothills typical of Southern California, and some ranch buildings built in the 1920s. Tall fir trees provided dramatic backdrops for photos, and shade for afternoon events. Guests are welcome to stroll through the adjacent Specialty Citrus Orchard or championship Bocce Ball courts. Ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinners-all events.
How much does it cost to rent a site?
Contact us for details. The facility is available prior to for preparation, pictures and use of brides room. Certificates of additional insurance are required.
How do I pay?
Deposit Due upon signing $ 500.00. The Remainder Balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Refundable Damage Deposit of $500.00 is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Proof of Event Insurance due 2 months before event.
How late can we party?
Our county's NOISE REGULATIONS require us to have all music off by 11:45PM.
Are any discounts available?
*Friday or Sunday weddings will receive a $500 discount.

How or why did you get into the catering/special events industry?
Jason Collis is the owner of Plated Events Inc. and past owner of Jonathan’s Inc.
Collis’ major accomplishments include being featured as a top dining destination by Zagat Guide 2008-2011 and winning acclaimed Cioppino contest held at Brander Vineyards in Santa Barbara, launching a catering venture with Limoneira’s agritourism special event division, awarded NACE's President's Award, and earning best martini bar honor the five years in a for his former J’s Tapas bar.
His former Mediterranean influenced restaurant, Jonathan’s at Peirano’s, was listed as a top destination spot in state and national magazines such as Gourmet, Westways & Sunset Magazine.
Collis apprenticed under world-renowned chef, Wolfgang Puck prior to taking ownership of Jonathan’s. He worked at Spago and assisted Puck with special events, cooking more than 1,200 fine dining plates for the famous Governor’s Ball following the Academy Awards, as well as catering large charity events and high-profile weddings.
In addition to his work in the food and beverage industry, Collis served as the Chair of the Downtown Ventura Organization (DVO).
He also currently serves on the Ventura County and Santa Barbara County National Association of Catering and Events board, VC Unified School District Culinary Arts ROP advisory board.
Collis also serves on the Holy Cross Consultative School Board and The VC Workforce Investment Board. Collis donates his time for quarterly charity events, including the Special Olympics, Casa Pacifica, Seeds for tomorrow project, FoodShare, La Reina Middle School and High School, Holy Cross School, Totally Local VC, Cal State Channel Islands University, Community Memorial Hospital, SEE-AG Education, Charity Bocce Ball Festival for Ventura County Sheriff Foundation and now Casa Pacifica Centers for children and families, Easter Seals.
It all started with Hurricane Katrina Benefit where he and other Ventura area chefs raised more than $20,000.
Collis earned his culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, Calif., one of only 12 facilities world-wide. He currently resides in North Oxnard, Calif.
What do you love about your job?
Being able to help create memorable life events for our clients that they and their guests will remember and cherish for generations to come. It doesn’t feel like work to me it feels like my mission in life!
