President's Report

Hello NACE Family,

Can you believe we are in the last quarter of 2016? It seems like yesterday we were asking our member base for fun, creative ideas on what you would like for programs for 2016.

Now we are are in the final months of the year and reflect back to what 2016 has meant to us and what we would like 2017 to be for us.

During the last quarter of the year it's time to reflect on what we have accomplished, and what we need to work on in our personal and business lives. It is also a time to take what we have learned from the past year and implement what was successful, change what was not, and develope new fresh ideas for 2017 event season.
Our Goals for our chapter in 2016 are to share the heart of NACE to all in our industry, increase our meeting attendance, and lastly, to grow our membership base.

Looking back, your local NACE chapter has accomplished a lot so far this year! I am personally proud of our amazing board of directors that have worked tirelessly to build and maintain a successful organization for our industry!

I am also proud of all the new and old faces that we have experienced this past year. Looking back at the first three quarters, we have increased our meeting attendance and increased industry professionals to be involved with NACE and experience the Heart of NACE.

Your chapter has truly created a diverse community of event professionals for you to network, learn, and grow from. We have also maintained our membership base, and it is on the verge of increasing this final quarter.

I personally would love to hear from you and see what you have thought of the past year. If you can take a minute or two and think back about your NACE 2016 experience and let us know what's on your mind.

A few questions we have for our members and future members:

Did we implement programs that were beneficial to your personal growth in our industry?

Have we created a diverse and welcoming environment for you to grow your business network?
What areas of improvement do you see that your local NACE chapter needs to work on?

The one area that we all can help with this final quarter of 2016 is our membership.

We all have a valuable stake in having our membership grow as so does our network! I ask everyone to tell a industry friend about what you have experienced from your membership with NACE.

Share with them, and on your social media outlets. Guess what?  You'll receive $50 off your renewal for just referring them!
If they haven't experienced a meeting yet, invite them and let them experience the Heart of NACE!

If we all have just one of friends and or vendors become a member of NACE our local chapter will double and so will your network!
Once again, thank you for all you have done this past year and I look forward to a fun exciting final quarter of 2016 with all of you!
